We are excited to welcome guests back to the Ames Center, managed by VenuWorks.  Our team has been hard to work implementing policies and procedures based on best practices in our industry and in compliance with State guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of guests and employees.

To safely welcome you back everyone must do their part. G
uests and staff will need to take additional precautions so that we may all come together and enjoy live events again. 

Guest Responsibility

Keep your distance from other groups as much as possible throughout the event. We kindly ask you be mindful of your distance from others as you move around the facility.

​Our venue will not be conducting temperature checks at guest entry points. However, we kindly ask that all guests check their temperature at home before attending an event. 
If your temperature is 100 or higher, please do not attend and consult your medical provider.

​If you are sick or have been in direct contact with someone who has been sick, please stay home. 
Symptoms to watch for include:
  • Fever
  • Cough/shortness of breath
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste/smell
  • Congestion/runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Following state guidelines, face coverings must be worn while in the facility by all guests, staff, and facility users.
There is currently no food or beverage sales. Please do not bring in outside food or beverages, aside from one, filled water bottle per guest. There will be no water fountain access to comply with State guidelines.  
Digital ticketing and use of credit cards are highly encouraged. This will allow our staff to complete transactions like ticket scanning  with minimal contact.

​Distancing & Cleanliness

Hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the facility. Guests and staff are encouraged to sanitize their hands upon entry to the facility and throughout the event.

Our staff will be conducting enhanced and more frequent cleaning with state of the art practices throughout the facility, especially high-traffic, high-touch areas.

To promote social distancing, we have reduced our capacities.  We ask you practice social distancing throughout the facility, including the Masquerade Dance Theater. Please only sit in your assigned seat or in those that are marked open. 

Staff Responsibilities

All staff members will undergo a health check-in upon reporting to work, including temperature check and health questionnaire.

To help protect our guests and fellow employees, our staff will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout all events. PPE will vary by position.

Staff will be instructed to stay home if they are not feeling well and will not be penalized for calling in sick.
Ticketing
We want to thank our fans for their patience as we have had to move or cancel an unprecedented number of events. Our ticket offices are accessible via phone and email for any questions you may have.
